Now I have finally the time to make art!

I am out of classes now until the fall. Already I am getting ideas about more artwork. I am getting an idead for a wire sculpture with found objects but I do not normally make sculptures but I find them very interesting. Also I just bought some new chalk pastels that I have yet to open and some new charcoal. I would love to draw more again. I also have one more blank canvas until I get paid.

I know I am not on the site often enough. I hope to be on here a bit more often as I find the art of others so awe- inspiring. Now that it is time for spring and soon it will be summer I will have lots of time on my hands.

I have a art therapy conference to go to in may. I am very excited about this this is the first one I will go to. I am studying art therapy right now at the master's level at a university. Also I just got news I will be awarded a small scholarship towards next years classes and books. I have never had a scholarship before so I am very humbled by this.
I also enjoy writing in a journal so I will be doing alot of that in my spare time too-unfortnately I do not really mean this one- I mean the private old fashioned paper kind. I love to write daily dribble, poems, thoughts and sometimes short stories. Someday I would love to try to get a book published of both my art and my writings.
